David aiming to steer firm to further success

A dealership has appointed an experienced motor retail professional as its new general manager.

David Anderson, who has worked in the trade for 36 years, is taking on the role at Bristol Street Motors Ford Morpeth. He joined the national firm a year ago and he is looking forward to his new position, which is a promotion.

The business is also celebrating its seventh anniversary in the town – it bought-out the former Jennings dealership in Coopies Lane. It currently employs 28 people at the site.

Mr Anderson said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for me. There is a very strong team here at Bristol Street Motors Ford Morpeth with some very talented colleagues and I am certain that the next seven years will be even more successful than the last seven.”

He is supported by a new leadership team comprising of Jamie MacLeod, sales manager, Phil Wilson, service manager, Terry Dunn, parts manager, and Dean Anderson, business manager.
