SHOPPERS can try some new products at Morpeth Farmers’ Market this weekend.

Cook-in herb bags for roasts will be on sale at the event for the first time, with other new additions including a variety of scotch eggs and Northumberland Poultry with duck, organic chicken and guinea fowl.

The usual mix of local produce will still be available, such as beef, pork, dry cured bacon, lamb, fresh fish, sausages, burgers, preserves, cheese, butter, clotted cream, quiche and cakes.

The market takes place on Saturday in Morpeth Market Place, from 9am to 2.30pm.
