A MORPETH motors business is bucking the economic downturn as it enjoys expansion in every area of its field.

Independent Land Rover specialist 4 Muddyfeet has taken on two extra staff, as well as increased the size of its workshop and stores to cope with the demand and prepare for further expansion.

The Coopies Lane business, which offers comprehensive services for Land Rover owners from 1948 models up to the Range Rover Evoque, reported growth last year in all its areas of diagnostics, parts and accessories, service and repairs, custom and off-road competition preparation, total rebuilds and e-commerce.

This year it plans to introduce a range of Land Rover accessories made by 4 Muddyfeet, which will see further increases in staff.

The two workers recently taken on are Russell Blewitt and Paul Waite, who each have seven years’ experience in the industry.

Mr Blewitt is fully trained in all areas of modern Land Rovers and has attended many academy courses. He will specialise in diagnostics and technician work.

Mr Waite will jointly run the parts and accessories shop.

In addition, technician Ian Jennings will be attending the Land Rover Academy for further training on Discover 3 and 4 models.
