A THRIVING Morpeth marketing business has welcomed two new members to its team.

Pro-Ad, which specialises in promotional merchandise, has appointed Carla Mackereth as an Account Manager and Laura Nowicki as a Sales Administrator.

Ms Mackereth will look after the company’s growing customer base, making sure there are high standards of service from inquiry to delivery.

She joins the business from Cumbrian web design company Motive Technology and has vast experience in customer service roles in retail banking. She also holds a foundation degree in design from Northumberland College, which ensures she can help customers with their artwork requirements.

She said: “I really enjoy being part of the Pro-Ad team as my role gives me the opportunity to work on very exciting projects with a varied range of businesses.

“Building strong relationships with customers is my number one goal. My main focus at the moment is to offer the highest quality of service by being proactive to their requirements and by supporting them with effective product ideas.”

Mrs Nowicki previously worked in Biffa Waste Services’ finance department and has held similar roles in the waste management and travel and leisure industries.

She will be responsible for the processing of orders at Pro-Ad, overseeing artwork approval and helping with accounts.

She said: “Working for Pro-Ad has been a great experience so far. Every day is a new learning curve and I am aiming to provide the company with the highest level of administration support.”

Pro-Ad was founded in 1982 and last year grew sales by more than 17 per cent.

Managing Director Carlo Nardini said: “We are delighted to welcome Carla and Laura to Pro-Ad. They are great additions to our team and they are working hard.”
