THE latest new store at Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade shopping centre is ready for business.
Just 4 U – a little shop with a big range of unique and unusual gifts and homewares – is owned by local husband and wife team Jamie and Christine Scott.
The couple have sourced products from across Europe and further afield, including the popular Rice range of kitchen and homewares.
The new store can be found off the Bridge Street entrance, next to the Jazz Hair Salon.
Mrs Scott said: “It’s been a really busy few weeks getting the shop ready for opening but it’s fantastic to be open now and see our sign above the door – we are delighted to be welcoming our first customers.
“We are stocking a wide range of products, from pocket money items for our younger customers to more expensive, individual pieces so hopefully there really is something for everyone.”
She has a background in retail and after watching Sanderson Arcade being developed on her doorstep, she decided it was the ideal place for the new business.
Just 4 U is a complete career change for Mr Scott, who worked in the niche field of supplying specialist stone to the construction industry after a career as a footballer which saw him playing for Newcastle United’s first team in the 1970s.
