A leading North East hospitality and pub company has been given a top business award.
Keith Liddell, chief executive officer of the Inn Collection Group, last year won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Northumberland Business Awards.
And he returned this year when his company won the Leisure Award.
He said: “We are delighted to be recognised for our contribution to business in Northumberland.
“Outside of London, Northumberland is the second fastest growing tourism environment in the UK, and to be able to satisfy that is fantastic.
“Our company ethos is to provide customers with the perfect place to eat, drink, sleep and explore, and I think this is what marks us out from the rest.
“We have taken The Inn Collection Group to where it is today as a growing hospitality and leisure provider.”
The Inn Collection Group is a progressive hospitality operator with pubs including the Hog’s Head Inn at Alnwick, The Seaton Lane Inn at Seaton, near Seaham, and The Lindisfarne Inn near Holy Island.
The group has been named operator of the Blyth-based multi-million pound 40-bedroom Commissioners Quay Inn, which opens ahead of the arrival of the Tall Ships regatta next year.
Newton Hall, Alnwick Castle and Ellingham Hall were also shortlisted for the award, which was sponsored by Phoenix Taxis.
