A MORPETH charity shop has issued a desperate appeal for stock.
Staff at the British Heart Foundation in Bridge Street say that since the removal of clothing and book banks from recycling centres and council owned sites in Ponteland, Morpeth and Bedlington they have been falling short of stock.
The charity needs clothing, handbags, shoes, accessories, books, DVDs, CDs, bric-a-brac and toys.
People are urged to take donations into the shop, where they can also sign up to a gift aid scheme to allow the charity to claim tax back from the Government.
Alternatively, they can call 01670 511804 for their items to be collected.
