THERE were fun and funds at a Morpeth business last week.

Virgin Money in Bridge Street welcomed customers to a special Tea Party on Thursday.

The event was held to raise funds for blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, which uses a register to match people willing to donate their bone marrow to patients in desperate need of a transplant.

The organisation is Virgin Money’s charity of the year and all 75 stores held events.
