THE strong arm of the law is showing its fund-raising might as a Morpeth legal firm gives thousands of pounds to charity.
Brumell and Sample has taken part in the Will Aid scheme for many years, which sees solicitors waive their normal will writing fees for clients every November in return for a donation that is shared among several charities.
Last year the firm collected more than £5,200, taking its total donations to almost £20,000.
Brumell and Sample Partner Michael Gaunt said: “We are proud that we are able to take part in something that does so much for charity. We would like to thank all of the clients who came to us and contributed so generously.”
