Can you help charity service?

A PONTELAND charity is seeking volunteers to support services for disabled people.

Leonard Cheshire Disability provides supported accommodation and a homecare service from its base in Bradbury Court, Thornhill Road.

The charity aims to improve the lives of service users and enable them to live as independently as possible, but it needs volunteers to support its work.

Volunteers will be given the chance to learn new skills, gain work experience and expand their CV and previous experience of working with disabled people is not necessary as full training will be given.

For more information about the service, contact Volunteer Co-ordinator Denise Chapman on 01661 867611 or e-mail denise.chapman@LCDisability.org
