Blake’s harmonious sound and musicality enables them to perform a wide-ranging repertoire, from opera to popular songs.
Peter Brown, choral director of Rock Festival Choir said: “Rock Festival Choir are delighted to have the opportunity to support Blake, a Brit award winning group who tour the world and have made many TV and radio appearances, including Songs of Praise and Strictly Come Dancing. We are really looking forward to this very special concert.”
The Rock Festival Choir was formed in 2003 to celebrate the restoration of the organ in the ancient church of St Phillip and St James, in the village of Rock.
Tickets for the Blake concert cost £21.50 premier, £20.40 standard, £29.50 concession, available from www.alnwickplayhouse.co.uk
