TWO Morpeth women will lose their locks on a special charity night next month.
Sally Slater, 23, and Rae Armstrong, 21, are promising a night to remember at the event for the Alzheimer’s Society at Morpeth Comrades Club.
They hope that having their heads shaved will help to raise more than £500 for the organisation which supports people who suffer from dementia and their carers and funds research to try to find a cure.
Sally said: “I am training to be a mental health nurse and have been inspired to help those with Alzheimer’s, as well as those who care for them.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an entertaining night, while supporting this worthy cause. We hope to see lots of people there, so bring your friends and family along – it should be a night to remember.”
The event, which will also include some music, is taking place on Saturday, February 26, from 7.30pm.
