Club aims to offer more speaking skills

CASTLE COMMUNICATORS

A new club is starting in Morpeth to help overcome the fear of public speaking.

Castle Communicators aims to improve confidence and competence in a supportive, enjoyable, no-pressure environment, using recognised Toastmasters International methods.

Many people have to give speeches, presentations and talks throughout their lives, from wedding speeches to job interviews and work presentations, and the new club aims to give them the skills they need to perform the daunting tasks.

The club is affiliated to Toastmasters and will run on a not-for-profit basis.

It will meet at Morpeth Methodist Church in Howard Terrace on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, from 6.45pm.

The first session is on Tuesday, August 12.
