Community issues raised

RESIDENTS in an area of Morpeth have raised concerns about two issues with local councillors.

At a meeting of Morpeth Town Council’s planning and transport committee, Coun Dave Pope said he had received complaints about speeding traffic near the entrance to Stobhillgate First School and Collingwood School and Media Arts College.

Meanwhile, Coun Stuart Lishman has been told of some unkempt areas of grass in the Stobhill ward.

The authority has raised the matter with both Northumberland County Council and the Isos housing group.
