Have your say

Forgive me for writing to you again about Morpeth roads. However, I cannot ignore the latest council plans that ignore future needs.

The council plans, (Morpeth Herald, October 27) indicate that the possibility of a future ‘Southern Bypass’ from Loansdean to the Stobhill roundabout are being deliberately destroyed.

We know this link must cross the railway, and maybe that cost is too high for current budgets.

The Stobhill part of this link road already exists.

However, to deliberately place yet more housing on the future route is almost negligence.

Please lobby for a small change to the amount of new housing to preserve this route for the future.
