BURGLARS have been targeting garages in Longhorsley.
Break-ins were attempted at three garages in Cragside Mews sometime between 4pm on Sunday and 8.15am on Monday.
Two of the garages were damaged, but the thieves did not gain entry, however tools were stolen from the third.
Morpeth Inspector Dave Simpson said: “Our priority is ensuring those living in Longhorsley feel safe and we will be focusing patrols in the area to deter any further incidents and reassure residents.”
