A MAN has denied a charge of manslaughter after the death of his brother ‘Little Elvis’.
Michael Marshall, 52, of Stobhill, who was known by the nickname throughout Morpeth for his love of karaoke, died in Wansbeck Hospital hours after an incident at Sanderson Arcade on August 23 last year.
His brother Anthony Marshall, 50, of Broome Road, Carrville, County Durham, was charged with manslaughter.
At Newcastle Crown Court on Friday, he pleaded not guilty to the charge and a trial date was set for May 14.
Marshall was released on unconditional bail.
