MORE than 20 people logged on to a new event for the Morpeth police sector.
And those who took part in its first online Partners and Communities Together meeting identified underage drinking, speeding and parking as the top three most pressing issues in a poll that ran during the event.
A total of 24 people were online during the two hours and 12 comments were posted.
Morpeth Neighbourhood Inspector Alison Best said: “This doesn’t replace face-to-face meetings, which continue to run, but it’s a different way of engaging with the community and finding out their views.
“We are grateful to those who took the time to participate and following the success of this meeting, there will be another one in June.”
