Police are appealing for information after criminal damage was caused at a Northumberland landmark.
Between 3pm on Saturday, November 16, and 9am on Sunday, November 17, while the Northumberlandia site at Plessey North Moor was closed, a low fence was scaled and a section of the fence was prised back, causing damage.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
Neighbourhood Inspector Dave Morrison said: “The fence was damaged at the Northumberlandia site and we’re carrying out enquiries.
“The landmark has set opening hours and I’d advise people not to visit the site out of hours. Extra police patrols are taking place to prevent further offences from taking place.”
Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
