Development applications submitted

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Ellington and Linton: Mr and Mrs Patrick and Mary Page, Amble House, Lynemouth Road, Ellington, construction of garage to front of property, with dropped kerb and disabled access stairs to side.

Ponteland: Mr Andrew Singh, Medwyn, Westmacot Street Houses, demolition of two semi-detached dwellings and construction of a three-storey, 46 bedroom hotel with ancillary car parking areas and access roads; Mr John Purvis, 111 Western Way, Darras Hall, alterations to front garden wall and entrance; Ms Jennifer Davies, 119 Runnymede Road, Darras Hall, Tree Preservation Order application for removal of four roots from tree in garden approximately 60 years old; Mrs Kath Mayers, 57 Errington Road, raise the height of the roof ridge line, full length rear dormer to create three bedrooms, bathroom and study, incorporating raised gable walls and front elevation dormer; Mr Ali Ashraf, 25 Meadow Court, Darras Hall, front and rear extensions with new roof to create rooms in loft with front and rear dormer windows.
