Development proposals

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Cresswell: Ms Irene Anderson, land west of Cresswell Home Farm Cottages, installation of single wood pole, approximately 11m high, to facilitate supply to Cresswell Home Farm.

East Chevington: Mr Bruce Griffiths, 66 Swarland Terrace, Red Row, notification of prior approval, proposed single storey rear extension.

Hepscott: Mr John Birkett, West View, double storey extension to north east side of house, demolition of single garage to south west side of house, construction of double garage to south west side of house.

Longhirst: Mr K Green, 14 Micklewood Close, trees in a Conservation Area, prune branches overhanging garden by 20 per cent (south side of tree only) to reduce shading of garden.

Morpeth: Mr Les Sage, 14A Oldgate, kitchen extension to rear of first floor flat; The Rev Simon White, Morpeth Parish Office, Morpeth Parish Hall, Grange Road, outline approval for change of use from community hall to residential; Mr Douglas MacFarlane, land east of 3 Chantry Place, trees in a conservation area, fell mature chestnut; Mr John Pritt, 12 Merle Gardens, Lancaster Park, replace flat felt roof over garage with pitched tiled roof.

Ponteland: Mr Rob Miller, Northumberland College, Kirkley Hall, Listed Building Consent, construction of three stand-alone rural business units within current Grade II listed stable block boundary and adjoining external walls; Ms Rachel Jackland, 120 Eastern Way, demolition and re-erection of single storey garage, new sun room and play room to side and rear ground floor, two additional bedrooms and en-suite to first floor and installation of juliet balcony.
