FUND-RAISING blossomed as a Morpeth club threw open its doors.

Morpeth Flower Club has handed over £205.50 to the town’s Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline charity after collecting the cash at its open night.

The group is thriving and holds monthly meetings at St James’s Centre.

The next session is on Wednesday, at 7.30pm, when area demonstrator Margaret Oakes will present Life at the Manor.

Visitors are welcome.
