VOTERS are being advised to make sure they don’t miss out on the May referendum.
Northumberland County Council says people should act now to apply for postal or proxy votes and make sure they are on the electoral register.
The referendum will be held on Thursday, May 5 to determine the voting system for the UK Parliament.
The deadline to get your name on the roll or for postal vote applications or changes is Thursday, April 14.
To request that a friend or relative votes on your behalf you must apply for a proxy vote by Thursday, April 21.
