Morpeth Lions Club’s annual Dickens of a Draw, organised by Lion Mike Nicholson, has just taken place.
There were 25 prizes, including a first prize of a week’s holiday in any of Parkdean Holidays’ sites, kindly donated by its Director John Waterworth.
The second prize is a weekend break at Linden Hall.
As usual, the Lions Club offered local charities and organisations the opportunity to raise funds, which this year amounted to about £4,000.
Tickets and prizes were provided and all the 34 organisations involved had to do was sell the tickets — money will be returned to them in January.
Prize winners are being notified and the winning numbers, which were drawn by the Mayor of Morpeth Andrew Tebbutt, are: 4186; 13612; 2956; 4309; 30984; 4284; 28564; 11049; 19509; 7081; 13598; 11217; 19459; 2024; 2053; 1361; 15725; 5431; 6401; 30814; 31627; 15835; 15505; 10880; 19177.
The Lions Club is most grateful to all those who support Dickens of a Draw either by buying tickets or providing prizes.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and wish your staff and all your readers the very best for the coming New Year.
