ALMOST £600 has been collected in aid of Barnabas Safe and Sound.
The money was raised at the Morpeth Mistletoe Fair and a street collection as the Mayor’s chosen charity.
The organisation took a total of £593, which will go towards its appeal for a vehicle.
Chief Executive Chris Menzies said: “We want to thank Morpeth Town Council and various volunteers who helped out. We are really pleased with the total. It will help towards buying our minibus or people carrier.”
