Ponteland High School was bathed in a sea of red to support the British Heart Foundation’s ‘Wear it, Beat it’ day.

Instigated for the second year running by Year 12 student Bea Holliday, a range of activities took place on the day – including cake sales and a raffle.

A total of £1,800 was raised to help the fight against heart disease.
