TALENTED twins Rebecca and Amy Gibbison make quite a double act when it comes to exams.
The King Edward VI School pupils have each notched up three A* or A grades after revising for their A-Levels together.
And their teamwork will continue as they are both set to go to Newcastle University.
Rebecca, who achieved three A* grades in chemistry, biology and art, is now set to study dentistry.
She said: “I was excited to open the results. I didn’t expect them to be this good, I think hope was the word more than anything.
“It has helped to settle the nerves having my sister here though.”
Amy is also off to Newcastle, having gained a place on a psychology course after achieving an A* in biology and A grades in psychology and geography.
“It is great that we have both done well,” she said.
“We revised together, but we were just trying not to think about the results before we came to get them.
“We’ve texted our Mum and she will be really happy with how we’ve done.”
