Charity fund gets into gear

A CHARITY vehicle fund is getting into gear with a £2,500 donation.

Northumberland Wildlife Trust has received the cash from the WA Handley Charity Trust to replace an ageing land rover.

The trust needs £20,000 to buy a new vehicle, which is essential for staff and volunteers to access remote nature reserves.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to the fund should contact Duncan Hutt on 0191 284 6884.
