A fitting tribute has been paid to a passionate supporter of Morpeth’s green spaces.

A clematis has been planted in the Old Bakehouse Millennium Green in memory of former councillor Jim Rudd, who was an enthusiastic supporter of the green, a trustee and Morpeth Town Council’s representative for the public garden.

Mr Rudd died in May last year. The clematis was planted by his wife Ann.
