Vital food has been provided for red squirrels at a county nature reserve, thanks to players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The Northumberland Wildlife Trust decided to use some of its latest allocation from the charity initiative to purchase new feeders and enough bags of squirrel mix to feed the resident reds at its Hauxley facility in Druridge Bay through the winter.
