More than 200 people turned out as members of the Anglican parish of Morpeth re-enacted the story of Jesus Christ’s birth in Stobhill on Sunday.

It started at St Aidan’s Church, carols were also sung as they made their way around the Jobling Crescent estate and Sainsbury’s was the place where there ‘was no room at the inn’.
