A GROUP of Ellington golfers went fancy free to raise money for liver cancer research. The Plough Inn Golf Society (PIGS) members dressed up in costumes ranging from Harry Potter to Popeye for their annual fund-raiser at Longhirst Hall Golf Club.

Ross Hope from the PIGS said: “It’s great that Longhirst gets behind us every year in helping us with our cause and it is a firm fixture in our season.”
