LAST week we brought you the story of the ticklish meerkats at Whitehouse Farm Centre, but they are not the only stars.
The visitor attraction near Stannington is home to dozens of animals, including skinny pigs, owls, emus, snakes and mini beasts.
Last year Quinto the lamb made headlines when she was born with five legs, and last month she underwent an operation to have her extra limb removed, just as a new lambing season gets under way.
Staff member Karen Lovatt said: “We are gearing up for our big lambing event at Easter when there will be 150 sheep with lambs, and bottle feeding. We do offer hands-on experiences so visitors have a chance to handle the animals and feed them.”
