THE 4th Morpeth Scout Group has said a big thank you to all the local businesses that donated raffle prizes in support of its spring coffee morning.

The event raised just over £800 and the funds will go towards a range of activities for all of the group’s sections throughout the year.

It has about 150 members in two Beaver Colonies, two Cub Packs and two Scout Troops, which meet at the hut in Low Stanners.

Parents are reminded that the deadline to drop off Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers in the collection box at the building is May 22. They can be redeemed for equipment and experiences.
