Flood works in the plans

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Hebron: The Garden Centre Group, Heighley Gate Farm Nurseries, removal of condition 7 and variation of condition 9 of CM/20100724.

Matfen: Mr Derek Hurst, former Ingoe Chapel, change of use from chapel to dwelling, which includes internal alterations and some changes to window sizes; Sir Anthony Milburn, Bog House, construction of two-storey extension, sun room, garage and extension of the residential curtilage to accommodate the garage.

Mr and Mrs Paul Naughton and Mrs S Christer, land south west of South Fens Farm, Stamfordham, outline application for erection of steel portal frame building, 23m x 22m, incorporating 12 stables and storage area.

Morpeth: Mr Michael Bone, 41 Kingswell, Tree Preservation Order, pollard sycamore; Mr Rowland Nicholson, 6 Wansbeck Place, non-material amendment relating to permission 13/00281/FUL (proposed kitchen extension, ground floor toilet and shower and extended landing at first floor by way of demolition and reconstruction as amended by revised site layout plan), amendment is for construction of a proposed hipped roof to rear first floor in lieu of mono pitch roof with dormer window and roof lights.

CH2M Hill, flood alleviation scheme areas along River Wansbeck, Oldgate, variation of condition 2 of 12/02972/FULES (application for a flood alleviation scheme for the town of Morpeth comprising new and improved embankments and flood defence walls, a new tree screen and other defence measures along the River Wansbeck); Mr James Morris, 8 Fenwick House, Manchester Street, replacement of seven single glazed timber windows with timber double glazed inserts; Mr Simon Robson, 4 Loansdean Wood, Loansdean, extension of rear garden wall and perimeter fencing to extend to the front of the property.

Ponteland: Mrs Deborah Brewis, AFI House, Street Houses, change of use from class B1 to workshop and showroom; Mr and Mrs L Tomkins, 36 The Lairage, single storey extension to rear to replace conservatory; Mr Mark Stoddart, 5 North Road, works to trees in a conservation area, fell one maple and one sycamore and coppice one maple; Mr Nick Hart, land north west of Pine Dene, Eachwick, prior notification for a steel portal framed agricultural implement store measuring 18.3m long x 9.15m wide x 3.6m average height to eaves; Mr Kevin Wilkinson, 67 North Road, single storey rear extension; Mr and Mrs R Elliott, 191 Western Way, Darras Hall, removal of existing conservatory to rear and construction of new orangery to rear; Mrs Christina White, 10 Grenville Court, Darras Hall, Tree Preservation Order application to crown thin one oak by 15 per cent, reduce and reshape one ash by ten per cent, crown thin one ash by 15 per cent and fell two birch; Mr and Mrs John Robson, Old Plant Yard, Prestwick, proposed demolition of industrial building and erection of one dwelling.

Stannington: Mr John Joisce, land west of The Lodge, 34 Station Road, change of use from agricultural field to paddock, with associated boundary treatment, erection of stable block and new vehicular access onto the public highway.

Whalton: Miss Catherine Dolan, Bonas Hill House, Ogle, proposed first floor extension, hallway extension and rear extension.
