Headline act The Christians will be supported by a superb line-up of musical talent at this summer’s Northumberland Live music festival.
The full line-up for the free festival, which takes place on Saturday, August 23, at Blyth Links, has been announced.
As previously reported, The Christians, famous for hits such as Forgotten Town, Harvest for the World, Born Again, Ideal World and Hooverville, will be the main attraction.
Supporting them are: Stan, a local band with a powerhouse of pop and rock.
ICENI are a popular Newcastle-based band who deliver disco- infused pop and have been playing to large crowds all over the country, including the V Festival and Glastonbury.
Jen Stephens and the Hiccups have a reputation for powerful and moving lyrics – a unique fusion of pop, jazz, folk and rock.
Cattle and Cane produce timeless music with layers of vocals, electric guitar and drums.
Tony Bengtsson is one of the top singer songwriters in the North East, a great performer and storyteller.
Alistair Sheerin has become a major draw on the North East music scene and is currently supporting The Enemy on their UK tour.
Joe Taylor is a popular Northumberland-based performer who draws influences from John Mayer, Damien Rice, Jason Mraz, Ingrid Michaelson and the Dave Matthews Band.
