Games galore at Stobhill

THERE will be plenty of fun for all the family tomorrow (Saturday) at a special day of activities in Morpeth.

Stobhill Community Forum, working alongside local residents, has organised a community games to celebrate the legacy of the 2012 Olympics.

As well as cage football and wood crafts, there will be zumba, tribal chanting and demonstrations of Powerhoop. Personnel from the Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service will be attending and there will be quite a few people in costumes.

The aims of the event, which takes place in and around Stobhill Youth Centre between 11am and 4pm, are to engage people in new activities and raise awareness of what is on in the area for residents.
