Informal drop-in sessions will give Morpeth and Ponteland residents an opportunity to find out more about final major modifications to the Core Strategy of Northumberland’s Local Plan.
Consultation on these changes began last month and it runs until Friday, December 23.
They include the proposal for a Garden Village at Dissington, near Ponteland, a supplementary planning document for land at south east Ponteland and alterations to employment land allocations at Morpeth.
The drop-in event at Ponteland will take place on Wednesday, in the Memorial Hall from 2pm to 7pm.
The one in Morpeth will be held on Tuesday, December 13, at the Town Hall between 2pm and 7pm.
Northumberland County Council will take responses into account during January 2017 – with a submission document considered in February and forwarded to the Government in March.
