THOSE interested in adopting children or providing foster care can find out more from Northumberland County Council.
At the moment, the Government is reviewing the adoption process to try and make it easier.
The authority runs information sessions throughout the year to help people to decide whether they are able to take on this rewarding role.
Those attending will be given the opportunity to speak to adoptive parents in Northumberland.
Coun Lesley Rickerby, Executive Member for Children and Young People, said: “The information sessions for adoption and fostering have been very successful this year.”
There are currently 13 children seeking an adoptive family in Northumberland.
The next information evening will be held on Thursday, December 1 at Hepscott Park. To book a place at this session, telephone Caroline Matthews on 01670 534450 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
