Community groups are being offered funding to help deliver projects through the Community Chest Scheme run by Northumberland County Council.
The scheme aims to support activities that will benefit communities and the first deadline for applications is Friday, May 9.
It is open to any voluntary, community, not-for-profit group or organisation based in, or predominantly serving Northumberland.
The money can be used for a range of purposes including events, or for the purchase of equipment. Grants of up to £10,000 are available, average grants awarded are between £2,500-£3,500.
The Community Chest fund will support one-off initiatives, including those that will help the development of long-term projects that are valuable to the area.
Priority will be given to projects that are submitted by small community groups and groups that have not received a grant from this fund in the past.
