PATIENTS have been invited to share their experiences of home nursing in a Morpeth focus group.
Northumberland LINk is working with the Queen’s Nursing Institute to collect information about people’s experiences of nursing care at home.
The data will be used to find out what is working well and where improvements could be made, and the institute will present its findings to decision-makers.
The focus group is open to patients who have experienced home nursing care, or carers or family members who have seen it in action.
Discussions are expected to last around two hours and participation will be treated in confidence. Refreshments and travelling expenses will be provided.
The focus group will take place at Northumberland County Blind Association in Staithes Lane, Low Stanners, on Thursday, September 8, from 2pm to 4pm. Anyone wishing to attend should call 01434 600599 or email CatherineW@adapt-tynedale.org.uk
People can also tell of their experiences in a survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/D39CCV2 by Friday, September 16.
