RURAL residents in Northumberland have been urged to make their voices heard in a survey on nursing care at home.
Local campaigner Anne-Marie Trevelyan is encouraging people to contribute to the online survey by Northumberland LINk and the Queen’s Nursing Institute.
She said: “The Queen’s Nursing Institute will use this information to see where there are gaps in provision and where improvements can be made.
“Residents of rural Northumberland are disadvantaged by the large distances that community nurses must cover, making it difficult for them to see as many vulnerable people as they would like.”
