A 10-year-old girl has thanked the paramedic who came to her aid.

Romalli Lanagan, of Longbenton, was crushed between two vehicles at Morpeth Hunt Pony Club in July when one reversed. She was airlifted to Newcastle RVI by the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS), and was discharged the same night with bruising.

Now she has thanked GNAAS paramedic Stuart Thompson, and tried out the pilot’s seat.
