Linda (Bess) Robson and a team of volunteers raised £600 for Henry Dancer Days (HDD) on Morpeth Fair Day.

She has raised hundreds of pounds over the years for a number of charities and those involved with HDD – which is now supporting 140 families of children with cancer, particularly Osteosarcoma and Ewings sarcoma – were delighted that she chose them this year.

Jane Nattrass, Henry’s mum, said: “I’m so grateful to Linda and her team of helpers.

“Without the generosity of people such as her we wouldn’t have been able to raise the £200,000 we’ve brought in over the past three years, which has helped families at a difficult time in their lives.”
