Home plan is turned down again

AN amended scheme to build a house on the edge of Morpeth town centre has been turned down.

An application to build a three-bedroom property next to Low Wood in Pottery Bank was rejected by Northumberland County Council in November 2012 and the decision was upheld on appeal.

Now a revised proposal for a two-bedroom home at the site has also been refused.

Planning officers ruled by delegated decision that the development would spoil the street scene and impair the privacy and prospect of neighbours.
