Housing bid submitted

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Cresswell: Mr Duncan Lawrence, The Drift, replace polycarbonate roof with tiled roof to side elevation, installation of roof lights and internal and external alterations.

Hebron: Mr Stephen Wildsmith, University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Cockle Park, proposed redevelopment of stone-built units (Met Unit) to create two large teaching labs plus entrance lobby/cloakroom and toilet block, including new mezzzanine level, the external fabric of the buildings is to be retained and repaired where needed, however new power, water and waste utilities connections will be required.

Heddon On The Wall: W and C Bell, 84A Trajan Walk, non-material amendment to 13/00922/FUL.

Hepscott: Mr and Mrs David Hall, 4 Eglingham Way, construction of single storey front porch extension; David Wilson Homes, land east of Stobhill Roundabout, development of 396 houses, access, landscaping and associated infrastructure.

Matfen: Mrs Emma Middleton, East Cottage, Fenwick, conservatory/orangery extension off the kitchen.

Morpeth: Mr R Anderson, 4 Thorp Avenue, construction of a detached one-and-a-half storey double garage; Mrs Maxine Eaton, 2 Loansdean Cottages, Great North Road (South), Tree Preservation Order, crown lift to 5m and dead wood two sycamores overhanging property; Mrs Laverick, 19 Brumell Drive, Lancaster Park, non-material amendment relating to permission 13/01045/FUL (proposed extensions and alterations to form enlarged garages, front canopy, new entrance lobby, rear utility room and shower room and construction of first floor extension to form new bedroom with dresser and ensuite), amendment relates to alterations, extensions and improvements to ground floor; Mr Mark Tait, Morpeth Newminster Middle School, Mitford Road, new modular stand alone building constructed next to existing school with covered walkway connection, which will be an extension of the existing flat roof of the school.

Ponteland: Mrs Margaret Herron, 40 Eland Edge, brick up garage door and provide new window, create new pitched roof over and flat roof to rear part, raise gable end and rear masonry; Dr S Sharma, 32 Stonehaugh Way, conversion of single garage into new entrance hall, including replacing garage door with front door and glazed side screen.

Stannington: Mr K Kelly, West Cottage, Glororum Farm Cottages, install new central heating system using air source heat pump; also Listed Building Consent.

Ulgham: Mr Keir Warne, land south of 29 The Croft, Ulgham Lane, outline permission for construction of a single storey bungalow.
