A Morpeth resident enjoyed her own MINI adventure after being selected for the North East tour as part of a national road trip.

Interior designer Kerry Lockwood was chosen to lead the regional leg of the initiative to ‘spread the spirit’ of the small car brand, supported by Lloyd Newcastle MINI.

Accompanied by eccentric beatboxers DUKE in a North East version of The Late Late Show’s Carpool Karaoke feature, the favourite spot locations she went to included Riley’s Fish Shack in Tynemouth, and the Fern Avenue Antiques Centre in Jesmond.

The 37-year-old lives in Morpeth town centre with her husband, Heart FM presenter Justin Lockwood, their two children, Alfie and Jersey, and their dog, Chester.

She said: “Lloyd Newcastle MINI was looking for someone doing things a bit differently, who embraces life and works to their passions, to be the local influencer.”
