THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Acklington: Jill Morris, 5 Bank House Farm, Listed Building Consent, single storey garden room to south of property, extension to be built in stone with white wood windows and doors to match existing structure, roof to be slate to match existing structure, with three roof lights, no alteration to existing building other than the addition of extension.

Cresswell: Park Resorts, Cresswell Towers Holiday Park, removal of condition 1 relating to planning permission X64/51 and condition 3 relating to X72176 to allow a 12 month holiday season on the park.

Longhirst: Mr and Mrs Will and Dawn Benson, South Lodge, replacement of three existing single glazed timber sliding sash windows with double glazed windows to match, internal alterations/adaption to enable disabled use, alterations to window opening to west elevation, re-establish bathroom window to north elevation and installation of new roof light, installation of new external boiler; also Listed Building Consent.

Lynemouth: Mr Andy Kennedy, land north of 1 Fenham Road, open space between Albion Terrace and Ingleby Terrace, land north west of 12 Market Square and River View gateways, installation of sculptural artworks by artist Graeme Hopper, two roadside entrance features, one on the corner of West Market Street, one on the corner of Fenham Road, three pedestrian gateway features at River View, two sculptures on the main green of Albion Terrace.

Meldon: Mr M Clippendal, Pigdon Farm, Pigdon, installation of lighting to existing farm house drive, retrospective.

Morpeth: St Oswald’s Hospice, 25 Bridge Street, advertisement consent for one non-illuminated projecting sign and one non-illuminated fascia sign; Mr Stephen Sandiford, 54 Abbey Meadows, Kirkhill, construction of a single storey front extension to porch and adjoining garage to incorporate a new downstairs toilet; Optimisation Developments, land at Staithes Lane and east of Dark Lane, variation of condition 49 of planning permission to allow Easter Monday trading hours to be the same as those stated for the Monday to Saturday periods already noted in the condition; Mr Terry Luck, Northumberland County Council, Morpeth Library, The Willows, installation of a radio repeater and antenna on the grounds of Morpeth Library, the antenna will be mounted on the roof of the building, securely fastened to a 12ft aluminium pole using a double clamp bracket which will be secured with a set of t&k fixing brackets, the cable from the aerial will be fed through to the Base Station repeater located inside the building; Mr Keith Hodgson, Morpeth Health Centre, The Mount, advertisement consent, three externally illuminated signs to main entrance, pharmacy and building frontage, facing main road.

Ponteland: Mr Ali Ashraf, 25 Meadow Court, Darras Hall, extension to front elevation using curtain walling system, demolition of existing conservatory to rear and construction of dining room extension to rear with balcony over, extension of roofline over garage and loft conversion with dormer windows.

Stannington: Mr M Whittaker, The Coppice, Great North Road, to increase height of boundary fence on south east side in line with existing fence on eastern side to keep uniform appearance, additional planting of evergreen bushes to screen appearance and maintain privacy.
