TASTE buds were tingling for Morpeth tots as they tried out new food flavours.

Children from Morpeth First School Nursery were invited along to La Vina restaurant in the Waterford Lodge in the town to celebrate the end of their topic on Around The World and Home Again.

The youngsters sampled typical Italian food, with many trying the dishes for the first time.
