Act quickly for funding opportunity

TIME is running out for charities based in Morpeth to be in with a chance of receiving funding support from a town centre business.

The Morpeth branch of The Original Factory Shop on the Market Place is on the lookout for a local good cause to donate money to after a year-long campaign.

Once a charity partner for 2013 has been selected, the fundraising programme will begin. The minimum target is £500.

Store Manager Kim Duncan said: “We raised funds for Barnabas Safe and Sound last year and we’re now searching for a local charity to team up with in 2013.

“We’re dedicated to making a difference to our community and are looking forward to the next campaign.”

Organisations can put themselves forward via The Original Factory Shop’s Facebook page (click on the ‘Make A Difference’ tab). The deadline is the end of Friday, January 11.
